INIT Files Definitions
Note: This data is captured by TattleINIT and reflects the files that were
actually executed by the INIT mechanism. If the date and time noted in the
first line of the listing was prior to the last time the computer was started,
then TattleINIT was missing from the System/Extensions folder. The
list only reflects those items which were executed after TattleINIT.
This list is also generated if you elect not to run TattleINIT. In that
case, the System Heap Space Used and High Memory Used categories are
not present and the list is generated using the following rules.
A file is executed by the INIT mechanism if the following conditions exist:
- File Type = cdev, RDEV, or INIT
- 窶廸o INITs窶 flag of file = false
- A Resource in the File = RDEV or INIT
[Text] = Field exists only under given circumstance
NOTE: Data Captured - Date and time data was collected [TattleINIT loaded,
Screen Report]
窶「 Total System Heap Space Used = Total bytes taken by listed INIT窶冱 in

窶「 Total High Memory Space Used = Total bytes taken by listed INIT窶冱 in
High Memory [TattleINIT loaded, Screen Report]

窶「 Extension/INIT# = Order which this file was executed
笳 Name = File name
笳 Version = Version number
笳 File Integrity = If Checking is on in TattleTech menu, is file damaged
笳 Type = Finder Type of file
笳 Creator = Finder Creator of File
笳 Modified = Date/Time File was modified
笳 Requested System Heap Space = The number of bytes requested to be
available in the system heap by the sysz Resource. If this amount is zero,
then the 窶sysz窶 resource was not present or was set to zero and the
minimum of 16K bytes was initially allocated
笳 System Heap Space Used = The number of bytes of space that this
extension is currently taking up in your system heap. This space is
unavailable to applications so if you are low on memory, you should look
here for memory eaters. To regain the memory, simply remove the file
from the folder specified below [TattleINIT loaded]
笳 High Memory Used = The Number of bytes of memory that this extension is
using above application memory. Look at this number along with the
System Heap Space to find memory eaters [TattleINIT loaded]
笳 Path Name = Location of File
笳 Files Used by (Extension Type) : List of files which were opened by the
extension. These fields are not listed in the "Tab-Delimited Text File
Report" format. [TattleINIT loaded, NOT Tab-File Report]
